Known Knowns

My little boy got neutered yesterday. I realize that menopause is for females, but I thought the title up on the way to work and was just giggling at my own cleverness so I had to use it.

He was pretty sluggish yesterday night. He mostly paced and whined, and then would literally fall to the ground and sleep. We had him wearing a little “diaper” (aka a tshirt worn backwards) so that he couldn’t lick his wound. Woke up at 3:45am, apparently perfectly recovered, needing to go outside.

Anyway. He’s basically his normal self this morning, which I think is pretty amazing. If it were me, I would have taken a week off work just to feel sorry for myself. Roland is bouncing around like a maniac. You’d never know he just got his balls hacked off.
